About Us
All are welcome to join us in worship, fellowship, and service.
Our Story
Built on a foundation of hope.
In 1995, Pastor Irene T. Singleton was serving as a minister in the AME Zion Connection, shepherding a small congregation, when Our Father called her to a new vision: the founding of White's Temple AME Zion Church.
In September of that year, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, a new non-denominational mission was founded and organized. Approximately twenty-five charter members came together to form the Tower of Hope Christian Church. For the past several years, we have worshipped at the First Congregational Church Chapel. Though our location has changed over time, our mission has remained the same.
Some of the faithful souls who began this journey with us have since gone to rest in the Lord. Their contributions to this mission will never be forgotten.
Those who remain continue to stand firm on the promises of God, pressing forward through the trials and tribulations that try the souls of men.
Our Vision
Our vision is simple: to be a beacon of hope in our community. For years, we have welcomed people from all walks of life to experience the love of Christ, find meaningful community, and grow in their faith.
Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church home, there is a place for you here.

Community
We are a family that supports one another through every season of life.

We are rooted in God's Word and committed to growing in knowledge and grace.
Service
We serve our neighbors near and far, sharing Christ's love in practical ways.
What We Believe
Our Statement of Faith
- 1
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- 2
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who lived, died, and rose again for our salvation.
- 3
We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
- 4
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
- 5
We believe the church is called to worship God, make disciples, and serve the world.
